much better than the neighbor expensive resort

so close to the sea shore, we were upgrade to a much bigger room with sea view. I am so sure they will do the same to every traveller once they have availiabe room.

Great host, magnificent view of the sea, very clean apartment

I accidently paid extra 50,000 won if im not mistaken... the host was very honest and returned the cash back... cudnt be more thankful for that... she is also very friendly and helpful

Quiet, peace and native Jeju experience

Nice view from room. Quiet and peace. The landlady is kind and passionate, gave us great help during our staying. Strongly recommend to the travelers who love ocean and local travel experience.

Nice comfortable accommodation in a great location

Wonderful location by the sea. Clean and comfortable. Friendly, helpful owner / manager on site. Very pleasant to stroll around the local area. Small restaurants including one doing good Italian food, nearby on the sea front. We hired a car from Jeju Airport so it was easy to reach this slightly out of the way location and to visit lots of sites on Jeju. I wouldn't consider driving on the mainland (public transport is so good) but a car makes things much easier on Jeju. Roads are good. You need an International Driving Permit from home before going to Korea.

The accommodation is very good but (in common with many places) it would be great to have more hooks on the wall and more laying surface for clothes and things. Note that the washing machine is in a basement - you need to access it by asking the manager.

What was the highlight of Solarseado Pension

A great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The lady in charge of the place was very nice and spoke good English. Room was huge for the 2 of us, although we were informed that it could house 4. Felt like having our own little apartment. We stayed 4 days and enjoyed everyday. Location-wise, it's a little hard to get to without a car, but the views and walks more than made up for it. Lots of quaint little shops around as well if you explore the place.

I would have liked more pillows and some toilet amenities :) Hubby didn't realise it wasn't a hotel and had to go out to buy what he needed.

Owner was very friendly and helpful.

Owner was very friendly and helpful. Great location with sea view, cafes and restaurants nearby. We particularly enjoyed this seafood restaurant called '봉자메' which was about 300m away.

Cleanliness could be better. One of the rooms has a weird musty smell and towels had some stains.

Traveled with my mother, room was clean, comfortable and big.

Traveled with my mother, room was clean, comfortable and big. The location is beautiful, perfect to just relax by the sea. No beach, just incase if you're looking for one. There's a nice walking/cycling path though. And also there's a few coffee and pizza places around the area, and a traditional seafood place right by the pension. The Jeju traditional women divers experience center is also right by this pension. Plenty of free parking, if you're renting a car. If not, easy to access by bus too. And if you stay here, you are basicaly staying at the most southern tip of the Korean peninsular. Our room was a studio room on the ground floor, no stairs. The caretaker is very helpful. Just ask her questions if you need any.

It is a wee bit overpriced.

The location was fantastic!

The location was fantastic! It's a short walk to the beach and my little boys could have spent the entire vacation exploring the rocks. The owner was very helpful in planning our outings. She spoke good English. Free parking and wifi a big plus. The town is small and quiet with a good amount of restaurants. Emart is 5 min drive away. We had no problem finding the place with the gps in our rental car.

Make sure you get to the store right away because no stores or coffee shops are open in the morning until 10. If you are staying with small children ask for a room without stairs. I'm not sure if they even have one without stairs. They are very steep. We made due without incident and the apartment is small so the kids are never out of sight but no stairs would have been more convenient. We would still stay there again tho. It's a great place!
